According to Caught Offside, Evan Ferguson is also being targeted by Chelsea in January.
The 18-year-old Brighton and Hove Albion sensation has lit the Premier League alight this season, scoring a multitude of incredible goals including a great hat-trick.
Ferguson is a proven goal scorer and has shown he can do it on the big occasion already. Since he’s tipped with a move to Manchester City, they would obviously be the player’s preferred destination. However, Chelsea have the funds and a relationship with Brighton in the transfer market, so nobody should write them off in this case.
In my opinion, Ferguson would be a better bet than Osimhen. However, Chelsea may prefer the maturity of the Napoli forward over the dynamism of the teenager. Either way, Pochettino is in no position to complain with these two incredible links.
