CM: Edson Alvarez – The summer signing was subbed off early on in the last Premier League match, so I assume David Moyes has him in contention to start this match. Providing he’s fit, he’ll certainly start as West Ham need their best players in a match like this.

CM: Pablo Fornals – He was brought on very late on at the weekend, so he is more than fresh to play in this match. As David Moyes looks to rotate his squad as much as possible without it being detrimental to performance, Fornals is a great option for the Scottish manager. He started the first Europa League match and he’ll start this one almost certainly.

CM: James Ward Prowse – The player of the season for the Hammers so far will provide some attacking flair to the midfielder. As the creative hub under Moyes, most of the play will run through the summer signing in a role he’s comfortable with. He’s the first name on the team sheet for a reason but if the Hammers are in control of this game, he’ll be subbed off with Newcastle in mind at the weekend.
