As West Ham travel for the first time in the Europa League this season, here’s the West Ham predicted lineup vs SC Freiburg.

West Ham predicted lineup vs SC Freiburg

GK: Lukasz Fabianski – Last time out in this competition, David Moyes opted for Lukasz Fabianski and I don’t see this decision changing. The Polish shot-stopper is reliable when called upon and I’m sure Areola won’t mind being rested after keeping a clean sheet at the weekend.

RB: Thilo Kehrer – It will be another Europa League performance, who did little to hinder his reputation in the last match. Well, that’s an understatement as the full-back was solid at the back. Surely, he’ll be called upon again.

CB: Dinos Mavropanos – The ex-Arsenal star impressed on his debut in the Europa League last time out. As expected, he was a commanding centre back that used his colossal frame to the best of his ability. He’ll be even more important against tougher opposition.

CB: Nayef Aguerd – Mr Reliable should be called up for this match. While Ogbonna sufficed in the first group stage match, this one will be tough so Aguerd could be the difference maker in defence.

LB: Emerson – The second change to the first group stage match is Emerson coming in for Cresswell for injury purposes. The Hammers looked much more comfortable last time out when Emerson was brought on, so I expect him to start in this one.
