RW: Diogo Jota – Given that Diogo Jota was shown a red card which cannot be appealed, he will face suspension. However, it doesn’t apply to UEFA competitions. Therefore, Klopp will show solidarity with his player by starting him in this match, a move which Liverpool fans will certainly be in favour of.

ST: Darwin Nunez – Cody Gakpo seems to be the striker of choice for Liverpool at the moment, but Darwin is certainly a top quality striker and he will take advantage of opportunities like this in the Europa League. Let’s not forget, he was incredible in the first Europa League match for Liverpool, scoring an important goal and bagging an assist.

LW: Luis Diaz – Off the left will be another goal scorer from that match against LASK, Luis Diaz. Known as Mr Reliable for his consistent attacking returns, he’ll be hopeful to grab another one in this match. Klopp will certainly trust him.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Union SG: Kelleher, Bajcetic, van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas; Gravenberch, Endo, Szoboszlai; Jota, Darwin, Diaz
