On Thursday, Liverpool host their Europa League competition at Anfield Stadium. Here’s the Liverpool predicted lineup vs Union SG.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Union SG

GK: Caoimhin Kelleher – The backup goalkeeper was called up to play in the previous Europa League fixture, so this one will be no different. Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world, so he won’t mind sitting out this one to see his counterpart impress once more.

RB: Stefan Bajcetic – He was in the starting eleven in Liverpool’s first Europa League match, only subbed off as Liverpool needed more attacking firepower at that stage of the game. It should be no issues in this match, as the Spanish defender will surely start.

CB: Virgil van DijkVan Dijk doesn’t tend to be affected by squad rotation unless it’s him who’s injured.  Having got the assist in the most recent robbery against Spurs, he did everything he could in that match. Starting in the Europa League, he’ll hope the officials aren’t half as stupid as they are in the Premier League

CB: Ibrahima Konate – This isn’t shade towards Matip for scoring the own goal. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and nobody points the fingers towards him. I could just see Klopp using this game as a time to rest Matip and give Konate some minutes, since the French defender played well in the recent Europa League match.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas – Almost certainly, Tsimikas will start. He played well in the last Europa League match and this competition is a good chance for Klopp to rest Robertson.
