Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is feeling generous with his contract offers of late, but he’s not stopping yet. According to a report, he plots a new deal for Mr. Consistent.

Arsenal have made some significant tactical switches this season. Mikel Arteta is known to be ruthless in order to achieve his aims, so this has resulted in many players being left on the bench. Some notable names to be dropped so far this season include Gabriel, Aaron Ramsdale and Leandro Trossard.

But one player who is hardly ever dropped is the consistent performer Ben White. The Englishman is one of the most reliable assets in this Arsenal team, so much so that Mikel Arteta centred the introduction of new signing Jurrien Timber around White, as opposed to dropping White.

One of the most notable factors about Ben White is his ability to play in a few positions in the defence. While his natural position is a centre back, he’s made a name for himself at right back, claiming this position as his own.

According to a claim from The Mirror, Arsenal are plotting a new deal for Ben White. It’s thought that Mikel Arteta is a big fan and sees his long-term vision at the club involving White.

Therefore, White could be offered a new contract extension, joining a growing list of players who have committed their futures to the club. Recently, Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have all penned new long-term deals.
