Three things are inevitable in this life – Death, taxes and Manchester United selling Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window.

Or at least, that’s what’s reported by the Daily Star. The report claims that Erik ten Hag is willing to cut ties by selling Jadon Sancho in January. However, it’s expected to be a “cut-price” deal from the fee they initially signed him for, which was around £73m.

Of course, the Red Devils shouldn’t expect anything near this valuation for their winger. When he was signed, he was a wonderkid and considered to be the next best thing. Since then, he has aged to 23-year-old and only declined in a United shirt, not developed.

Manchester United selling Jadon Sancho is a blessing in disguise

Sancho blames everybody but himself and he outwardly expressed his anger towards the club and manager Erik ten Hag on social media. But the problem with the England international is that he never did his talking on the pitch. As a neutral fan, I remember being happy when I saw Sancho in the lineup against my club because it was bound to be a quiet day for our defenders.

To disrespect a club the size of United, there are bound to be consequences. I actually think that this whole drama is a blessing in disguise for United fans. Yes, it doesn’t look good right now, but when Sancho is sold in January, this allows for some great alternatives to come in.

Indeed, United have already shortlisted some great players. In the last few days alone, they have shortlisted Serge Gnabry of Bayern Munich. After conceding against the dazzling Germany international, they know a lot about the quality he can produce as he is far superior to Sancho and in the peak of his career.

Who do you think Manchester United will sign to replace the departing Jadon Sancho?
