If there was ever an incentive for Erik ten Hag to improve this Manchester United side, it’s this. According to some reports, they could be stuck to the Glazers if their poor form continues.

The start to the season has been one to forget for Manchester United fans. It’s been a season full of defensive errors, signings not living up to their expectations and, of course, protests. The fans are doing everything they can to get their club back to where it once was, by protesting to remove the financial dependence on the toxic Glazers.

The season has been filled with confusion, admittedly. Fans are unsure whether the sale of the club is actually going to happen. It’s been on and off for some time now, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim the two potential buyers.

Manchester United could end up stuck with the Glazers

Although, according to a new report from the Daily Mail, Erik ten Hag’s poor start to the season as Manchester United manager isn’t doing anything to narrow the gap in valuation between the Glazers and their potential buyers. Meaning, unless United improve or the Glazers lower their valuation, it’s not likely a takeover will happen anytime soon.

In some ways, this is a good thing for United fans. It shows that the potential buyers actually care about the state of the club and base its worth on how well the club is performing. The bad news, though, is the body in charge of the club at the moment doesn’t see it like that and only thinks about lining their pockets.

Do you think the Glazers will sell Manchester United?
