Arsenal come up against PSV in the Champions League tonight. It’s a big game for Mikel Arteta as it marks the long awaited return to the competition for the Gunners. After seven long years, the fans finally have a night under the lights to anticipate again. With all eyes on the Arsenal lineup vs PSV, it’s hard to predict, but a hint may have just landed.

Social media post could hint at the Arsenal lineup vs PSV

Building up for the coverage of the match, the Arsenal account has obviously been very active on social media. However, Football London believe they may have done more than just build up to the coverage – Instead, they may have dropped a big lineup hint.

Declan Rice has featured on the pre-match graphic, which could be a sign he will play in this match. While it doesn’t 100% confirm he will start against PSV, it often means that he will be involved in the match somehow.

Declan Rice has started every game so far this season and has really adapted well to playing under Mikel Arteta, Given the injury to Thomas Partey, he has really stepped up and played in the position which suits him well. Therefore, it’s anticipated he’ll start again.

Let’s not forget that there are many fringe midfield players who are in contention to fill the spots – Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Emile Smith Rowe, Jorginho and Fabio Vieira are all hopeful to start in the midfield tonight. Realistically, only three of them can.
