Chelsea ALREADY interested in signing “humiliated” Arsenal goalkeeper

Arsenal seem to have things under control this season. While they aren’t as electric as last season, this is the area which Mikel Arteta has improved the most – What I mean by this is that sometimes, boring football wins you titles. There’s more control this season than there was last season and it’s due to a number of tactical changes made by Mikel Arteta. One of the most contested tactical change which Arteta has made recently is the decision to drop Aaron Ramsdale and instead start David Raya.

In fairness, the change has only been made for one game so far, but the reaction on social media and in production has been that they feel Ramsdale was hard done by.

Certainly, the vocal Arsenal fan Piers Morgan wasn’t happy with the decision. Posting to X, Morgan was in defence of Ramsdale, saying the decision to leave him on the bench against Everton would’ve “humiliated” the England shot-stopper.

Chelsea monitor Aaron Ramsdale’s situation at Arsenal

According to a new revelation from the Daily Mail, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are already keeping an eye on Aaron Ramsdale. Given that he was dropped for one match, the idea is that if he’s consistently dropped, he’ll become unnerved and one of the two clubs could persuade him to move.

Ramsdale still upholds many values of being a lower-league goalkeeper. Therefore, he certainly wouldn’t be opposed to join the relegation candidates Chelsea. However, given the ludicrous money they’ve spent with no signs of progression, it would be a HUGE downgrade to move on from Arsenal. Besides, he’s only been dropped for one game – Time will tell if it’s a consistent change.

Do you think Chelsea will sign Aaron Ramsdale?
