Casemiro (defensive midfielder)
As Beth from the United Stand pointed out, Casemiro is having a horrible season. However, as United doesn’t have any other option, he would start. However, it is fair to say that United fans should not expect Casemiro to play on his own as clearly his best days are gone.
Scott McTominay (defensive midfielder)
McTominay would start because United will be looking for two defensive midfielders. Amrabat is injured and thus, he will start this game. Bayern wanted to sign McTominay as per rumours and if those rumours were true, then the Bavarians will be able to see the man they wanted to partner Kimmich in the midfield.
Bruno Fernandes (attacking midfielder)
Bruno Fernandes has to step up as Manchester United captain. Since taking over the armband from Maguire, he has been struggling. But, he will start this game. A lot will depend on Bruno in this game. Thus, it is important for Bruno to have a good game.
