Arsenal continued their fine form in the Premier League with a win against Everton… At Goodison Park. I know, it feels weird to go to Goodison Park and win, doesn’t it?
Well, that’s exactly what Mikel Arteta did. With the Champions League fixture against PSV in mind, it was expected that Arteta would make some rotational changes and he did exactly that. Not only in goal where he played David Raya but he also included Fabio Vieira and Eddie Nketiah with chances to impress him.
One player who isn’t spoken about enough is the Portugal international, Fabio Vieira. Yesterday was another solid performance from the midfielder as he got forward and looked confident in the final third. I said in my Arsenal player ratings that his only downside was his confidence in front of goal, but his creativity certainly made that redundant yesterday.
Now that Vieira is finally being given some chances, Mikel Arteta is noticing the trust being rewarded. Let’s not forget that Vieira got the assist for Gabriel Jesus’ winner against Manchester United and he assisted Martinelli’s disallowed goal yesterday. Fans are certainly starting to notice his improvement, let’s see some of the best fan reactions…
Arsenal fans react to Fabio Vieira’s fine display against Everton
Great performance from a start. He looks to have gone up a level. Getting his socks dirty for the team. He will definitely be important this season. Fábio Vieira. 🇵🇹 pic.twitter.com/hPOPfh3B4x

The journalist Eduardo Hagn kicked off the applaud for Vieira, commenting how he’s improved a level.
People said Fabio Vieira will be bullied at Everton. But he was actually our biggest threat in the final third and even won his share of duels. Lot of positives to take for him from today.

Next, Sash commented on how Vieira exceeded expectations from the fan-base and media.
🇵🇹 Fábio Vieira has transformed into a beast. The Portuguese was constantly alternating with his left winger and providing intricate balls through the tightly packed Everton defence. Not afraid to give his teammates a bit of a yelling at either. Sensational performance pic.twitter.com/8ulSn9Ld8g

Now described as a “beast”, do you think Fabio Vieira will make the first-team more often?
