Chelsea are in need of a win against Bournemouth in today’s Premier League fixture. They currently have just four points, so they must get a win to make their record of seven points from a possible 15 look more respectable. Anything less than a win is not acceptable and should put Mauricio Pochettino’s future in doubt (yes, already).

Big boost for Chelsea fans as Mauricio Pochettino starts Enzo Fernandez today

According to the Argentine manager, though, he plans to maximise his chances by starting a strong lineup, despite some players being tired from the international break. According to a beacon of positivity from London World, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Enzo Fernandez will start in today’s match against Bournemouth.

Currently the best player at Chelsea and dubbed by some as being “world-class”, it’s not a surprise. When Enzo is fit, he should be the first name on the team sheet for the Blues.

The World Cup winning midfielder is key to the build-up play strategy which Mauricio Pochettino aims to instill at Chelsea. He is a great dictator of play and a lot of the times, the play in midfield runs through Enzo.

Chelsea are the away team, but they still have the upper-hand today. They have the advantage given the depth and quality of their squad. Although both teams have started the season poorly and it’s very rare that the Blues actually get the job done, most would expect them to today. I guess time will tell whether that prediction rings true.
