Arsenal will look back at the summer transfer window with no regrets. Mikel Arteta did well to use the financial resources in the necessary positions and avoided overspending. Some marquee signings which includes Declan Rice were made and it’s been to great effect, as the Gunners have started off this Premier League campaign unbeaten so far.

Next week, Mikel Arteta will manage the Gunners’ return to Champions League football. While the squad he’s submitted is strong and includes the club’s best players, he will be thinking ahead to the January transfer window, where he’s allowed to enter more players into the squad.

According to the latest from Tuttomercatoweb (via Team Talk), Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could revive his interest in Dusan Vlahovic. The Juventus striker was linked with a move away in summer, with Arsenal being one of the suitors. However, he didn’t manage to get a move away.

It’s said that the Old Lady are desperate to ship out their €70m striker. While he’s not a bad option, he is surplus to requirements in Turin as Juve prefer to play a system which doesn’t line up with the Serbian’s attributes. With Arteta’s attacking line being more fluid, it could be the perfect home for Vlahovic to revive his career.

Arsenal invested in Gabriel Jesus last summer, and he’s likely to remain the number one option. However, there are some buses which don’t pass twice, so Mikel Arteta may feel he needs to snatch this Vlahovic opportunity, as he’s clearly a big fan of the player, targeting him consistently over the last few windows.

Do you think Arsenal will sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus?
