Manchester United signed Amad Diallo in 2021 from Atlanta. He looked like a promising young talent. The Ivorian international seemed like the next big thing for Man Utd. However, as with most other signings of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he didn’t get enough game time for United.

So, in 2022, in the first year of Erik ten Hag as the manager, he was loaned out to Sunderland where he caught the eyes of everyone in English football. He was fantastic for The Black Cats as he almost secured a promotion to the Premier League for his team.

Now, with Jadon Sancho causing all sorts of problems for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag, Amad can be seen as his replacement. Although Amad Diallo is recovering from an injury, when he comes back, he can surely be a Jadon Sancho replacement that Ten Hag can trust.
