Manchester United fans by now know that their manager likes to work with players with whom he had worked before. Hakim Ziyech is one player who used to play in that famous Ajax team under Erik ten Hag. His move to Chelsea didn’t go that well.

Now, the Moroccan international finds himself playing for Galatasaray in the Turkish League. Erik ten Hag admires the player and he would love to have him at Manchester United. He was linked to a move to United last season. However, a reunion with his former manager wasn’t on the card.

But, things changed recently after the antics of Jadon Sancho. Erik ten Hag may not give game time to Sancho this season. And in January, he might look to offload. A possible replacement for Sancho could be Hakim Ziyech as he is a favourable option in the eyes of the Dutch manager.
