Manchester United have some serious issues to resolve right now. Not only are they under fire for their lack of response to the Antony situation, but they also have a clearly unhappy player in Jadon Sancho.

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past week, the Englishman spoke out against Erik ten Hag after he was benched against Arsenal. In truth, Sancho was probably better off not playing that match given how woefully his team performed but he complained given the fact that he felt he did everything in his power to prove his dedication.

Since the response which Jadon Sancho made to be being dropped, this has heaped huge pressure on manager Erik ten Hag since fans and players are eagerly awaiting his next move. Well, it looks likely that Sancho could be shipped out of Old Trafford, with Saudi Arabian sides lining up to take advantage of the fallout.

Ben Foster thinks Jadon Sancho has disrespected Manchester United

Speaking recently on the situation is YouTuber, podcaster and former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster. The retired professional was speaking on fan channel The United Stand, and used some strong adjectives to describe his thoughts on the situation.

Quoted via Football Fancast, Foster described the situation as “petulant, emotive, reactional and disrespectful.” Further, Foster, who had experience of playing under the best manager of all time Sir Alex Ferguson, said that if you were to hit out at Sir Alex like Sancho did against Ten Hag, then “you are done” and Sancho “would never play for this club”.

As a professional who played during the time where football wasn’t as soft, and it was managers who held all the power, Foster is in the best position to narrate this situation. Wise words as ever from Foz.
