9 Brighton players to watch during the September’s international break

The international break started sunny after a brilliant win against Newcastle on the weekend. But with already problems with injuries on the squad, especially with Julio Enciso, Roberto de Zerbi expects all 20 Albion players to return without issues. With that being said, here’s the list of 9 Brighton players to watch during the international break.

9 Brighton players to watch during the international break

 Lewis Dunk

This is the second Lewis Dunk call-up for Gareth Southgate’s squad, but he got injured just before the first one and got cut out. The defender will be available for the Euros Qualification matches against Ukraine on Saturday (9) and Scotland next Tuesday (12).

Billy Gilmour

Billy Gilmour became a big piece of the Scottish national team, especially during the Euro’s Qualifications. The youngster will be available for the matches against Cyprus on Friday (08) and England next Tuesday (12).

Pervis Estupinan

Just like at the World Cup, Pervis Estupinan got called up for the Equatorian Squad and is expected to play against  Argentina this Thursday (07) and Uruguay next Tuesday (12).

Pascal Gross 

For the first time, Pascal Gross got called up for Germany’s senior team and is expected to give more confidence to Hansi Flick’s squad. Germany is playing friendly matches against Japan on Saturday (09) and France on Tuesday (12).

Simon Adingra

With his second call-up for the Ivory Coast’s senior team, Simon Adingra is playing the Qualifications for the Africa Cup of Nations against Lesotho on Saturday (09) and Mali on Tuesday (12).

Facundo Buonanotte

Making his debut for the Argentinian Senior Squad on the last international break, Facundo Buonanotte got his second call-up from Lionel Scaloni. The young gem is expected to play against Ecuador this Thursday (07) and Bolivia next Tuesday (12).

 Samy Chouchane

The Tunisian midfielder may be from the Brighton U-21 team, but he got his first call-up from the National Senior Team. Chouchane will be able to help his teammates at the Qualifications for the Africa Cup of Nations against Botswana this Thursday (07) and Egypt next Tuesday (12).

Kaoru Mitoma

The Japanese midfielder makes a big difference in De Zerbi’s team structure and is not different for the National Team.  Mitoma will lead Japan to the friendly matches against Germany on Saturday (09) and Turkey on Tuesday (12).

Bart Verbruggen 

The new Brighton second goalkeeper got his second call-up for the Netherlands Senior Team, as he played for the U-21 until the Eurocup this summer. At the Euros Qualification, he will be available against Greece this Thursday (07) and Ireland on Sunday (10).
