Arsenal have got off to a good start to the season. It’s a shame that the comparison is Manchester City, where you are expected nothing less than perfection but to pick up 10 points from an available 12 is a decent tally for Mikel Arteta.
And it’s a testament to the work of the recruitment team in the summer transfer window, as the Gunners had a very good window. They spent big but got the right players who have certainly done a job for them at the start of this season.
However, the work is not done for Mikel Arteta. With other international transfer windows remaining open for some time, he has to convince the players on the fringe of first team football at the Emirates Stadium to stay and fight for their respective places. One of those players being Jorginho, who has recently been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig.
Agent of Jorginho confirms he will stay at Arsenal
We live in a world where, for better or for worse, agents run football. The transfer window is dominated with stories which the agents leak in order to get the best possible deal for their players.
Jorginho has been a big brother and a true Arsenal dressing room leader.

This man is really enjoying his time with Arsenal. Jorginho couldn't even focus on the warm-up to prepare to be thrown into the match, but he celebrated hysterically when Declan Rice scored.

However, an agent of the Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has come to the club’s rescue. According to Tutto Mercato, Jorginho’s agent says he will remain in North London to work with Mikel Arteta, despite the interest from Turkey, where the transfer window remains open for over a week.
Do you think Jorginho was a good signing for Arsenal?
