The mood is a very good one in the Arsenal camp. All the staff, players and fans at the club will go into the international break on high spirits after their emphatic win against Manchester United yesterday. Winning this historic derby is good enough as it is, let alone when it was won given the circumstances.

I’m certain that all Arsenal fans have rewatched the highlights about one hundred times because I know I have. However, a general summary goes as follows: One goal down… Odegaard instantly pulled back… Snooze-fest… Havertz with a penalty shout… Garnacho scores the “winner” but it’s offside… Delcan Rice ACTUALLY scores the winner… Jesus finishes it off.

But that is a VERY brief summary. For people who watched the match, and indeed the highlights (one hundred times) will be very aware of the impact from one unexpected player. He was brought on as a sub and if you haven’t guessed already, I’m talking about Fabio Vieira.

The Portugal international played the pinpoint assist for Gabriel Jesus’ sealer, and it’s not the first time he’s come on to play an important assist. Fans on Twitter have been quick to share their appreciation of the young player who Arteta trusts with his whole heart.
