Manchester United have a potential issue with star forward

Jadon Sancho may have put his Manchester United future in jeopardy after a social media post that attempted to right some wrongs from his point of view.
Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho goes public
The England international is out of favour at Old Trafford, and in his own words been “a scapegoat for a long time” after not being included in the United squad for their trip to Arsenal, a game they lost 3-1. Manager Erik Ten Hag has been very vocal about the player who cost £73m in a high-profile transfer from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021.
The boss decided during last season to send the young star to the Netherlands in an attempt for him to regain fitness, and to clear any mental issues that may have been affecting the player. He came back, and all seemed well, scoring on his return and Ten Hag was full of praise. However, he was then dropped again and now finds himself down the pecking order.
Speaking of his decision to leave Sancho out of the trip to North London, where they have also lost to Tottenham Hotspur this season, the stern boss said. “Jadon, on his performances in training we did not select him. You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game, he was not selected.”
X marks the spot
Sancho’s social media post on X read as follows:
With Sancho now going public with his thoughts and feelings on the matter, this can only bring a further confrontation with his manager and cast a shadow in the dressing room. Sancho is an undoubted talent, and one that England boss Gareth Southgate will keep an eye on too as the National team steps up performances for the European Championships next summer.
The England boss has been reluctant to pick him on a couple of occasions but recognises his worth. In the summer that Sancho made the switch from Dortmund, and with an England squad announced, Southgate was asked about the winger’s inclusion. “Does he deserve to be in on these performances over the last few weeks? Well, probably not. But we feel we have invested in Jadon over a period of time. We believe he can get to a high level.”
