It is transfer deadline day and it’s been a transfer window to remember for Chelsea fans. Unsurprisingly, new manager Mauricio Pochettino has been treated to many welcoming gifts from the Stamford Bridge board. As a token of trust and for the love of investments, Todd Boehly has kept up his reputation of spending big.

But there’s still expected to be action, even this late into the window. Mauricio Pochettino not only needs to think about wrapping up any loose ends in his pending deals, but he must consider losing some players to avoid the squad being too inflated and suffering from the same fate as Graham Potter. Thankfully, one of his decisions has been made easier.

Trevoh Chalobah pushes for a last minute move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich

According to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the versatile 24-year-old defender Trevoh Chalobah has indicated that he would like to move to Bayern Munich. Therefore, it could either be a last minute move to the German champions or he will stay at Chelsea, against his own wishes.

From the player’s perspective, you can’t blame him. He hasn’t started so far this season through injury, but even sitting back and watching his club’s transfer activity, he won’t have high hopes for game time amid his return. Ageing at 24 years old, the future looks bleak for the defender with English citizenship.

From Chelsea’s perspective, they must grant his wishes. Although they are familiar with keeping players who would prefer to be at other clubs, direct transfer requests are different. Besides, it’s not like the extra numbers are needed in the English capital.

Where do you think Trevoh Chalobah will play this season?
