Spurs are active in the transfer window. Since they still have financial resources from the Harry Kane sale to use, Ange Postecoglou would like to put those to good use by strengthening his side.

They have started their 2023/24 Premier League campaign incredibly well and only look to get better from last season. However, bringing in at least one, but maybe a couple more signings before deadline day would tighten any loose bolts.

Spurs inquire about Ansu Fati – Chelsea also eye the Barcelona forward

According to a report from the most trusted source in the world Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are eying the young talent Ansu Fati from Barcelona. The winger who was once dubbed as the next Lionel Messi is also attracting interest from Chelsea, who in my opinion are more likely to throw cash at this deal.

Fati is still just 20 years of age and looks destined to leave Barcelona this summer. Romano has claimed for a long time that his situation is one to watch, particularly now as we’re close to deadline day.

The versatile forward, who can play on either wing or as a centre forward, has made 3 La Liga appearances this season. However, all three of those appearances were from the bench and not for long.

For the sake of his development, he must leave Catalonia this summer. If it’s a two-horse race between Spurs and Chelsea, then the most logical choice is Spurs who are undergoing a project. However, unfortunately, I could see Todd Boehly throwing way too much money at this deal.

Where do you think Ansu Fati will play this season?
