Manchester United will be heavily scrutinised over the next few days, as the transfer window is nearing its close. So far this window, the Red Devils have strengthened their squad while keeping ahold of their best players. However, there are still some fringe players who must have their futures resolved ASAP.

One of those players is Donny van de Beek. The midfielder who was thought to be the next big thing when he first signed for Manchester United has been a complete flop. Even when Erik ten Hag joined the club and people thought he could get the best out of the midfielder, it hasn’t looked great.

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek still wants to leave

Recently, Manchester United rejected the final approach for Donny van de Beek from Real Sociedad. Although, don’t get it twisted as Van De Beek is still for sale, the right price just needs to be met.

According to an update from Fabrizio Romano, Donn van de Beek hasn’t had his mind changed after the failed approach made by Real Sociedad. Romano claims that it is still the midfielder’s intention to leave and as a bonus update, Fiorentina are still waiting on United to make a move for their midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Admittedly, United may be waiting to see what the outcome of their pursuit for Amrabat is. However, it is their own responsibility to find out that outcome as they haven’t submitted a bid for the midfielder yet. Long story short, it’s their own fault this whole saga has been left late and I can understand Van De Beek’s frustration.

Where do you think Donny van de Beek will end up?
