Manchester United are now getting linked to the left-backs from all across Europe. Marc Cucurella, Rico Henry, Sergio Reguilón, Nicolás Tagliafico, and so many other names have been linked to Manchester United. The latest joining to that list is the Italian left-back, Leonardo Spinazzola. According to DiMarzio, Manchester United have made an enquiry about AS Roma left-back, Spinazzola. The left-back situation of Man United is getting worse with each day. They will visit the Emirates Stadium this Sunday without a proper left-back.

What Is Happening with Manchester United’s Left-Back Situation?

The left-back situation at Manchester United is a mess right now. Tyrell Malacia was injured before the start of the season. Luke Shaw got injured during the training session. These two are the first-team left-backs for Man Utd. However, at a club like Man United, you would expect to have backups. Brandon Williams went on a loan to Ipswich Town and the only proper left-back who remains at the club is the 20-year-old Spaniard, Alvaro Fernandez. Man Utd are even considering moving him on loan to possibly Granada. So, Erik ten Hag is in a desperate mode to find a left-back in the market. But, for now, he is settling with a makeshift left-back in Diogo Dalot.

Is Spinazzola to Manchester United a Good Move?

Leonardo Spinazzola plays for the Italian national team and won the Euros in 2020. He also played for Juventus and Atalanta before joining AS Roma in 2019. His performances for Roma have been superb and that is why he caught the eyes of many clubs across Europe including Manchester United. So, it is fair to say that Spinazzola could be a great signing for Man Utd. But, he also has an offer on the table from a Saudi club, Al-Shabab.

So, do you think Leonardo Spinazzola can be a good signing for Manchester United? Let us know in the comments.
