Liverpool have had a pretty good start to the season. Despite picking up two red cards in their opening three games (one of them being overturned), the Reds have remained unbeaten and sit fourth in the Premier League table after gameweek 3.

Jurgen Klopp has pushed aside all concerns about his midfield, although he would ideally like to bring in at least one more recruitment in this position. The Liverpool boss is a perfectionist, it’s just a shame the board doesn’t align with his squad objectives financially.

But, recruitments aside, there is one lingering concern on the fans’ minds. They are frightened to lose their best player Mohamed Salah, after it’s been reported by various sources that Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in signing him. Ageing at 31 years old now, moving to an emerging league in an Islamic country may appeal to the superstar.

Al-Ittihad will submit an INSANE bid for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah

Despite Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s statement that Mohamed Salah is not for sale at any price, Al-Ittihad are prepared to submit an insane bid worth £129m to sign the Egyptian (According to CBS Sports). Say what you’d like but for a 31-year-old, this is an insane fee.

Unfortunately for Saudi Arabia, I don’t think it’s an offer which Klopp can’t refuse, but it does show their desire to sign Salah.

Salah has got off to a good start this season. Obviously as the first name on the team sheet, he has started all three of Liverpool’s opening fixtures. His return has been impressive too, scoring a goal and providing two assists in three games, averaging one goal return per appearance.

After losing Sadio Mane last season, Liverpool suffered the wrath of losing their attacking firepower. Since Salah is one of the more consistent performers, to lose him just a season after losing Mane is not a reality which Jurgen Klopp is likely to accept.

Where do you think Mohamed Salah will play this season?
