Brighton transfer news: Carlos Baleba is expected to sign a deal soon

The war is over! As already reported at The Top Flight, Brighton and Carlos Baleba already reached an agreement of a 5-year deal. An article at L’Equipe explained that the midfielder ‘passed the first part’ of his medical on Monday, and should sign a contract for five years and the second half of his medical this Tuesday. According to the French report, the deal was agreed at €27m + €3m, and more than 15% of any future profit.

Brighton transfer news: Championship teams are interested in signing Andi Zeqiri

According to Football League Word, Brighton is looking for a permanent loan for the 24-year-old striker Andi Zeqiri, and several Championship clubs are interested. The Swiss came to Brighton from Lausanne in 2020 and already went on loan to Augsburg in the 2021/22 season and to Basel in the 2022/23. The Daily Express journalist Charlie Gordon reported that Birmingham City is one of the teams pushing hard to sign the player, but Leicester and Southampton also had interest. Lille is one of the three French teams interested in signing the Swiss striker in France.

Brighton transfer news: De Zerbi on talks with Bayer Leverkusen for  Amine Adli

The RMC sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins reported on X that Brighton had already started talks with Amine Adli’s management team to question if the 23-year-old would consider a move to the Premier League. Roberto De Zerbi is said to be an admirer of the French forward, but it is also reported that Leverkusen would demand a significant fee for Adli because of Moussa Diaby’s transfer to Aston Villa earlier this transfer window.
