3 Standout Performances from Tottenham’s Victory over Man United
By Cole Sutton
Pepe Matar Sarr
With only 12 PL Appearances heading into Saturday’s clash, the 20-year-old found himself placed into the starting lineup for the second straight game to begin the 23-24 season. Two starts were all it took for the Senegal international to find his way onto the scoresheet, opening the scoring in the 49th minute. A deflected cross off the right side from Kulusevski happened to land right at Sarr’s feet, and with no hesitation, the midfielder placed a one-timed top-class finish into the upper netting. The goal was Sarr’s first as a member of Tottenham and will be one that the youngster will certainly never forget.
