3 Standout Performances from Tottenham’s Victory over Man United
By Cole Sutton
Honorable Mention: Destiny Udogie
A newcomer to PL action, Udogie is another youngster that Tottenham fans have been raving about. The 20-year-old Italian joined Spurs back in August of 2022 but returned to Italy to finish the season on loan. The 23-24 season will be the first year Udogie is fully active with Spurs’ first team, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going anywhere. The former Udinese starlet showed incredible pace and poise on the ball against Man United and had no fear getting upfield and joining in on the attack out wide whenever possible. While that can be a bit risky and open the opportunities for counterattacks, Udogie also showed great effort in getting back defensively even after joining the rush and held his own against United’s attackers like Antony and Marcus Rasfhord.
