Erik ten Hag plans mass Manchester United exodus – 3 FLOPS will be sold
By Kian Long
Erik ten Hag, for the most part, is a popular figure at Manchester United. While he might not have had the best start to the season, and some of his transfer decisions lately have been questionable, he has had an overall positive impact on the club since taking over.
The thing that Manchester United fans like about Erik ten Hag the most is that he is ruthless. He’s not afraid to be the centre of controversy if his decisions benefit the club in the long-run. This was shown when he campaigned against Cristiano Ronaldo before selling the superstar and it’s been shown by the amount of players he plans to sell this summer, but for good reason.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag plans to sell TRIO
According to various reports, there will be three more flops sold by Erik ten Hag in the coming weeks. According to Manchester Evening News, both Donny van de Beek and Brandon Williams are thought to be up for sale as they are not considered for selection. Further, Daily Mail claim that defender Eric Bailly will soon be sold, with Fulham currently in talks to sign him.
Those three decisions are understandable, in my opinion. Donny van de Beek has never looked like getting his career on track at United since signing. Williams just isn’t good enough to start consistently at a club the size of United and Bailly, well, I forgot he was even a United player.
Given the time that is left in the transfer window and how poorly United have started this season, more signings are expected to be made. In recent seasons, Ten Hag has given the board all the reason in the world to back him, so they should grant him financial resources to aid his plan.
