Ange Postecoglou will manage his first Premier League home game for Tottenham Hotspur as they host Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United. The fixture will take play on Saturday, August 19th and is on Sky Sports. Spurs will be searching for their first win of the season after drawing London rivals Brentford in their opening match. The Top Flight provides our Tottenham predicted lineup for the fixture.

Guglielmo Vicario will get the start again for Spurs as he is set to be the number-one keeper under Postegcoglou. As The Top Flight has covered, longtime captain Hugo Lloris is subject to interest from Lazio and is fully expected to leave this summer.

The full-back positions for Tottenham will be very attacking-minded this season. Newcomer Destiny Udogie is a favourite to start at left-back, while Emerson Royal may be preferred again over Pedro Porro. The centre-backs will almost certainly be the partnership of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven. Romero was subbed out very early against Brenford but is expected to be fit for the weekend.

The midfield will likely see a change as Oliver Skipp had a rough outing versus Brentford and will be replaced by Pape Matar Sarr. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a shout also to get a start, but Postecoglou may opt for younger legs in the midfield. Yves Bissouma was immense in Tottenham’s first match and will start again in the midfield. Rounding up the midfield in a more attacking role is new signing James Maddison who was also fantastic against Brentford with two assists.

The Spurs’ attack will likely remain much the same as last game, as life without Harry Kane starts. Captain Son Heung-min will start out left while Richarlison will be tasked with the centre-forward position. Dejan Kulusevski should be the starting right-winger on Saturday against Manchester United.

Tottenham Predicted Lineup: Vicario, Royal, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie, Bissouma, Pape Sarr, Maddison, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Son
