Arsenal are set to kick off the 2023/24 Premier League campaign at the Emirates in London. The Gunners will host Nottingham Forest, who survived relegation last season and look to move upwards in the table this season. The match starts at 12:30 pm local time on August 12th. The Top Flight provides our Arsenal predicted lineup for the fixture.

In goal, it will be Aaron Ramsdale, who will still be the runaway starter until the club officially signs David Raya. Ramsdale played in the Community Shield against Manchester City, helping Arsenal win on penalty kicks.

Out at right-back, the choices are Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu. There’s no reason to believe this game won’t see White starting again, as he was the regular here for Mikel Arteta last season.

The centre-back positions should be the phenomenal partnership of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba. Jakub Kiwior and Rob Holding will be on the bench, while Jurrien Timber will be playing elsewhere.

Timber will start at left-back, as he is expected to do this season. Kieran Tierney will be his backup option as Oleksandr Zinchenko remains out injured with a calf problem. The Dutchman has just arrived from Ajax and will play an important role under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal fans will be licking their lips at Arteta’s preferred midfield this season. Captain Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Declan Rice are expected to be the trio in the middle park and will start this game against Nottingham Forest. On the bench are the options of Emile Smith-Rowe and Fabio Viera.

The two wingers in Arsenal’s attack will be familiar as starboy’s Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka hope for massive seasons again. A new face will likely start in the centre-forward position as Gabriel Jesus is sidelined with an injury. Newcomer Kai Havertz, who has controversially joined from rivals Chelsea, is poised to earn another starter under Arteta. Eddie Nketiah and Leoandro Trossard are dark horse candidates to start on Saturday.

Arsenal Predicted Lineup: Ramsdale, White, Gabriel, Saliba, Timber, Rice, Partey, Odegaard, Saka, Havertz, Martinelli
