2. Reece James (5.5M) – DEF

Much like Chilwell, James can be a steal if he can stay healthy. Just two seasons ago, Reece recorded 141 FPL points after picking up 14 goal contributions in just 26 Premier League matches. In an offensive system under Mauricio Pochettino, James could have a bounce-back season offensively and really rack up the points. With Chelsea’s restructured defense, there’s a chance for a lot of clean sheets here as well. James is currently selected by 15.1% of players.

Unsurprisingly but James will be the first name on the team sheet for Chelsea this season. He has been named captain and will be expected to go the full length in most matches.
