Chelsea-bound midfielder drops bombshell – He prefers ARSENAL
By Kian Long
Chelsea are involving themselves yet again in a transfer-tussle with Arsenal. Last season, the most notable transfer race was beween the two London rivals for the signing of Ukraine winger Mykhaylo Mudryk. In the end it was Todd Boehly who won the race, despite Mudryk preferring a move to Arsenal.
The same fate seems to be taking place right now. Much like Mudryk, another Chelsea target has come out to drop the bombshell that he would prefer to sign for Arsenal.
Chelsea-bound Mohammed Kudus would prefer to sign for Arsenal
According to Football Transfers, Mohammed Kudus who currently plays for Ajax but is linked with a move to Chelsea, has expressed a “strong preference” to join Arsenal instead of the Blues. The report claims that due to the Gunners being in the Champions League, personal terms would not be an issue as this is a key part of the player’s decision-making.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners are serious about signing Mohammed Kudus. At the moment, tabloids are reporting that they are interested. However, it is only when a bid is made or personal terms are discussed with the player that we can deem Mikel Arteta’s interest in the player serious.
In my opinion, it is a no-brainer for Arsenal to sign Mohammed Kudus. Not only would they prevent a league rival from strengthening, but they would get an excellent and versatile player who understands the game better than most in his position.
Where do you think Mohammed Kudus will play next season?
