If you are to count on any transfer to be made by Erik ten Hag, it would be Rasmus Hojlund.
Since the start of the transfer window, Manchester United have shown significant interest in signing the Atalanta striker. Now, it is thought to be in the advanced stage, as Manchester United plan to submit a second bid, after their first was rejected.

The player himself is keen on the move. He would be a sure starter for United, as they currently do not have an out-and-out striker. Marcus Rashford, who played as a striker last season, would like to return to his more natural wide position.
Hojlund is hungry to succeed and he will be under Ten Hag. His brute physicality and tall stature seems somewhat oxymoronic to his rapid speed. He would certainly be United’s answer to Haaland.
