According to Caught Offside, Utrecht 18-year-old wonderkid Adrian Blake was approached by some unnamed Premier League clubs but rejected them as game time is a priority for his development. However, being born in Islington, London, Blake says that he “hopes to play for Arsenal one day.”
Blake is a predominantly left-winger, however, he can also play on the right-wing. At the moment, we are aware that Mikel Arteta seeks a right-winger to provide backup to Bukayo Saka. While it might not be time for Blake right now, he is certainly a player for Arteta to consider in the future.
Blake spent last season in the Championship with Watford before securing a big move to the top tier of Dutch football. The Netherlands is known for bringing the best out of young players before waving them goodbye to some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Blake is very open that he hopes to follow the same trajectory.
