Former Chelsea boss wants to sign their exceptional 22-year-old talent

Chelsea are in dire need of selling more players. They may have already lost a few this summer, but in their efforts to balance the book, it is unavoidable that more players need to be sold. This is good news for fans, though, since the more deadwood players who are sold, the more room they have in the squad.
New manager Mauricio Pochettino has already revealed some of the players he would like to keep, namely Levi Colwill. However, there is one young player who doesn’t seem to have a future at Stamford Bridge, after returning from his loan spell.
That player is Callum Hudson-Odoi. While he was once a valued asset at Chelsea, unfortunately there is no room for him in this highly inflated attacking line. Further, Mauricio Pochettino does not seem to have plans to reintroduce him to the squad, so he is likely on the sale list. Clubs are interested in him, too.
Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi could reunite with Maurizio Sarri
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Hudson-Odoi is “close” to being reunited with his former manager at Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri. The Italian boss now manages Lazio, which is the most likely destination for the 22-year-old.
Certainly, this move would benefit all parties. It benefits Chelsea as it frees up room and wage allocation, it benefits Lazio as they are getting an exceptional young talent and it benefits the player because reuniting with Sarri who knows how to utilise his best traits could be key to getting back into the England squad.
I believe there is still a gem to be unearthed in Hudson-Odoi. I don’t think he would leave Stamford Bridge with a bitter taste in his mouth, either. He is just one of those prodigies who, unfortunately, was unlucky that conditions out of his control hindered his progress.
