However, Frank is the type of manager who is never satisfied. Therefore, he’ll want to improve his squad before the transfer window comes to an end.
Brentford’s first game of the season is at home to Tottenham Hotspur. Therefore, securing some top quality signings before this difficult opening fixture is of utmost importance. This is why it’s good from the fans’ perspective that the club is central to a big transfer story recently.

According to The Mirror, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is attracting interest from Brentford. However, they will face competition from Saudi Arabia and Besiktas. The former Arsenal and Liverpool man is a free agent, so it is just wages to discuss.
From the player’s perspective, it remains to be seen whether he values staying in England. Given that he is a family man who has known nothing but England since he began his footballing career, taking the step to move abroad at 29 years old may not be at the top of his wishlist.
