According to Fabrizio Romano, today is a “big day” as William Saliba is finally set to finalise his new deal at the club. The French defender was one of Mikel Arteta’s best players this season and he is seen as crucial to the Gunners’ return to Champions League football.

William Saliba is set to join Reiss Nelson, who also committed his future to Arsenal by signing a contract extension yesterday.
