Brighton transfer news – Brighton is ahead on the run to sign Cole Palmer on loan
According to The Sun, Brighton is ahead on the run to sign Cole Palmer, one of Pep Guardiola’s wonderkid. The midfielder hasn’t solidified his place at City, so a season on loan could be the best for both sides. It was recently reported that RB Leipzig was the destination for the loan of the 21-year-old, but it looks like the Seagulls have taken a great spot on the run. Especially because De Zerbi and the club have a great reputation for turning talented youngsters into big names.
Brighton transfer news – Levi Colwill rejects a new contract with Chelsea
The Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Levi Colwill refused to enter a new contract negotiation with Chelsea as he remains a bit unconvinced about the project for the season at Stamford Bridge. The Seagulls made a £30m bid for the player that stayed the 2022/23 season on loan at the Amex Stadium, but it was rejected by the Blues.
"“Chelsea offered Levi Colwill a new contract, it was a verbal conversation with his agent, but from Levi Colwill’s side, it was kind of ‘wait, we don’t want to discuss anything now’, so Levi is not in negotiations with Chelsea now”, Romano said it on his Youtube channel."
His current contract with Chelsea is set to expire in 2025 and, besides Brighton, Liverpool and Manchester City also showed interest in signing the player.
