Manchester United transfer news – £30m bid for Rasmus Hojlund rejected

According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have had their bid of £30m rejected by Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund. Given Hojlund’s immense goal scoring ability and his age being just 20 years old, this bid was ambitious and frankly, a bit cheeky from United.

Still, as an opening bid you have to be somewhat ambitious as there is always room to negotiate with a club. In my opinion, the United board should certainly bid again, as anywhere up to £50m would be a bargain for a player of his ability.

Manchester United transfer news – Interest in Andre Onana

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan officials expect a bid from Manchester United for Andre Onana in the coming days. This was reported yesterday, but to my knowledge at the time of writing this, there has still been no opening bid. Therefore, the bid should be anytime soon. Then, it will be up to Inter and the player to discuss the potential move.
