Having already completed the signing of Kai Havertz (and making him the highest paid player at the club), Mikel Arteta isn’t done there. He would like to complete four more deals at Arsenal this week, according to The Mirror.

Let’s take a look at the four deals which Arteta wants to complete…

Declan Rice to Arsenal

This is the saga on everyone’s mind at the moment. According to the article, Mikel Arteta wants to wrap up this deal this week. Although, negotiations continue with West Ham United about the right conditions (the price is right). There should be no issues with personal terms since Rice wants this move as badly as Arteta does.

Jurrien Timber to Arsenal

There has been some significant progress with this deal today. We reported earlier that progress had been made and the club’s confidence had increased massively. It’s just a case of deciphering the right conditions between Ajax and Arsenal again, since Jurrien Timber wants to make the move as well.

William Saliba’s contract extension

The feeling with William Saliba’s contract situation is a positive feeling. In fact, many journalists are in agreement that the deal is essentially done. All that needs to happen now is for documents to be signed, which is thought to happen when Saliba returns from holiday.

Reiss Nelson’s contract extension

It’s not just Saliba who plans to stay at the Emirates Stadium, but Reiss Nelson too. Having produced his invaluable moment last season, Nelson has shown plenty of maturity and that he’s ready to make a claim on the first team. When this deal is signed, he can really aim to prove that to Arteta.

Do you think these are good deals from Arsenal?
