According to trusted source David Ornstein of The Athletic, Chelsea will sanction the release clause of just over €35m to sign Nicolas Jackson. Further, the Villarreal striker is in London and has completed his medical. Therefore, Mauricio Pochettino appears to have secured himself a bargain and fixed the striker dilemma at Stamford Bridge.

According to Caught Offside, Manchester Unitd have submitted their final bid to sign Mount and have other alternatives lined up. They will leave their final bid open in case Chelsea change their mind, which they must be forced into given Mount’s ultimatum that he will either leave this summer or next year for free.
