Brighton transfer news: Mohammed Kudus is a concrete target for De Zerbi
Mohammed Kudus to Brighton: here we go? According to Fabrizio Romano, Kudus became one of the Seagulls’ top targets for the transfer window. Manchester United and Arsenal already showed interest in the Ghanaian player, that scored 18 goals and provided six assists this season, helping Ajax to finish third in the Eredivisie. The deal can be challenging for Brighton, as Ajax is asking for £40m for the midfielder, but he could fit perfectly on De Zerbi’s team as Mac Allister already left, and Caicedo is expected to leave.
Brighton transfer news: Chelsea is preparing another offer for Moises Caicedo
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea is likely to make a second offer for Caicedo once they’ve recuperated more money from sales. Last week for the Blues was busy as N’Golo Kante, Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Edouard Mendy have all accepted to leave for Saudi Arabian clubs, and Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic are also moving but staying in England. This is the second bid the club is making for the Equatorian star, as the £ 60 million bid was denied by the Seagulls.
Brighton transfer news: Abdallah Sima is set for another loan move
Rangers are interested in Abdallah Sima, a striker that was on loan to Angers. The Senegalese came from Slavia Praha for a four-year contract in 2021 and went immediately on loan to Stoke City. After coming back that season, he stayed on loan to Angers and showed his potential, scoring six goals in 37 games. As De Zerbi has plenty of options on the attack (Danny Welbeck, Evan Ferguson, Deniz Undav, Kaoru Mitoma, Julio Enciso, Joao Pedro, Solly March and Facundo Buonanotte), Sima is most likely to leave again on loan this season.
