Indeed, Chelsea still plan to trigger his release clause and his contract is already being prepared. Further, Fabrizio Romano claims that the player will fly to London once the deal is done.
Chelsea transfer news – Further bids for Mason Mount
After yesterday’s rejection, Manchester United are expected to make a THIRD bid to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea.
Further, Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea are now “flexible” about selling Mason Mount. Where they held out for £65m, they could now even accept around £60m. This is in the hopes that Manchester United can finally get this deal over the line.

Chelsea transfer news – Callum Hudson-Odoi to fly to Saudi as well
Yesterday’s Chelsea transfer news seemed to be all about players leaving to join the Saudi Pro League. If you thought you’d click on today’s and not see the word “Saudi”, you’d be sadly mistaken.
According to The Athletic, another Chelsea player has been targeted. Simon Johnson has claimed that Callum Hudson-Odoi is now a transfer target for TWO Saudi clubs. Given his continuous loan spells and injury problems, it doesn’t look like Hudson-Odoi is a big part of the club’s future so he will likely be sold this summer.
