Manchester United transfer news – Manchester United eye Gleison Bremer
According to Sport Witness, Manchester United are eyeing a potential summer swoop for Juventus defender Gleison Bremer. He still has four years remaining on his contract, but Juventus will desperately want to recuperate some of their financial losses, so Bremer could be sacrificed despite impressing in his debut season.
Manchester United transfer news – Goodbye, Victor Osimhen chances
Any remaining hope that Manchester United fans had about signing Victor Osimhen will soon be wiped away. The president of Napoli has revealed that there is a deal in place to extend Osimhen’s contract by a further two years – as per Fabrizio Romano.
Nothing is concrete, but the president did give some hope in saying the club will see what happens if they receive an impossible-to-ignore bid. Still, this hinders United because they would have to bid much, much more given this extension.
Manchester United transfer news – Kim Min-Jae expected at Bayern Munich
This is a weird one. Manchester United looked set to sign Kim Min-Jae, Osimhen’s teammate at Napoli. However, in recent days, the growing consensus is that the centre back will join Bayern Munich. Fabrizio Romano has updated that Bayern are still the favourites to land Kim Min-Jae.
More so than Osimhen, this can be put down as a Ten Hag bottle job, as much as United fans won’t like to admit it. He should’ve been more efficient than Bayern given his head-start.
