Chelsea transfer news – Christopher Nkunku confirmed

Chelsea made their first signing of the summer and announced it on Twitter this morning. For those who may have missed it, or more reason to celebrate for those who caught it, Christopher Nkunku is a Chelsea player now.

Stellar bit of business, in my bitter opinion as an Arsenal fan.

Chelsea transfer news – Pochettino eyes Romeo Lavia

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are keeping an eye on Romeo Lavia. Romano included this small detail in his tweet about Arsenal advancing in their negotiations to sign Romeo Lavia. We know from experience that Chelsea are prone to swooping in and signing Arsenal targets, regardless of how far along the deal is.

This is a deal which is worth keeping an eye on, Chelsea fans.

Chelsea transfer news – Nicolas Jackson is a BARGAIN

It’s been widely reported this week that Nicolas Jackson is likely to sign for Chelsea, with the Blues wanting to activate his £30m release clause. Villarreal CEO Roig Negueroles has spoken out on the clause, claiming that it should not be underestimated since Jackson has the potential to be worth around £70m.

If the Villarreal chief’s comments (via Standard) do come true, then Chelsea would essentially be getting a £40m discount – What an investment!
