West Ham transfer news – David Moyes will sell Gianluca Scamacca
According to the latest report from Football Insider, West Ham United forward Gianluca Scamacca has already agreed terms to sign for Roma. The report claims that David Moyes is willing to let Scamacca leave on a loan or a loan-to-buy deal.
Just one season after signing for the Hammers, most parties are frustrated with the lack of input Scamacca has had. Granted he’s not been fortunate with injuries, but he’s failed to stamp his authority on the first team and is not what Moyes is looking for going forward.
Before Scamacca is allowed to leave, Moyes wants to sign his replacement first. Signing a striker in this transfer window is of utmost importance, given that Michail Antonio will likely leave too.
West Ham transfer news – Arsenal are building around Declan Rice
I don’t think there’s much hope in the West Ham camp that Declan Rice will stay. He’s already had his fairytale ending and David Sullivan essentially confirmed he will leave.
According to Sam Dean of the Telegraph, Arsenal are confident they will get this deal over the line and so much so, that Mikel Arteta is building his plans around Rice and Odegaard in the midfield.
West Ham transfer news – 3 Declan Rice replacements considered
Preparing for life without their captain, the West Ham recruitment team have successfully located three midfielders who could come in to replace Declan Rice. They are Joao Palhinha, James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez, according to Sky Sports.
