WINNER #3 – Aaron Ramsdale

We all know that Ramsdale loves being busy, as every great goalkeeper does. He thrives the most when the pressure is on and he loves his theatrics. But, the goal for every goalkeeper is to play in a team where actually, you don’t have to do much at all.

Signing Declan Rice would mean that Ramsdale and the Arsenal defence are left with less to do, since a lot of the mopping up would be done in midfield. Something that the Gunners were criticised for many seasons ago was not having a backbone in midfield. Boy, if those haters could see the potential midfield with Rice.

LOSER #3 – Mohamed Elneny

He’s not one to complain, but Elneny won’t have an easy time of things when returning from injury. Signing Rice essentially demotes Elneny to the bottom of the midfield barrel. Still, he can do a job when he is called upon and will be happy to see Arteta do what’s best for the team.

Do you think Arsenal will sign Declan Rice this summer?
