Brighton transfer news – Roberto De Zerbi won’t give up for Levi Colwill

Roberto De Zerbi knows what he wants and he’ll stop at nothing to get it. Football fans know the feeling too well of falling in love with loan players, but it turns out that De Zerbi has suffered the same fate.

Given that Chelsea defender Levi Colwill spent his last season impressing in the Amex Stadium defence, De Zerbi would like to sign him on a permanent deal. However, Chelsea would also like to keep him with Kalidou Koulibaly likely to leave.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Brighton will “insist”, which likely means they’ll submit a higher bid after their £30m bid was rejected.
